LUBBOCK, Texas – Texas Tech Athletics will launch the "Typical Tech" podcast on Monday, giving fans another source for insight into the athletics department. The podcast, which is presented by J Ferg Pros, will address the most recent events in the college sports landscape, while celebrating the rich history of the Red Raiders.
 
The inaugural episode will feature head football coach Matt Wells and Red Raider great Rodney Allison. Subscribers can also download the March 18 episode of the Kirby Hocutt Show, which features interviews with Texas Tech President Lawrence Schovanec and head baseball coach Tim Tadlock.
 
"Our fans always want more information regarding Texas Tech Athletics," said Robert Giovannetti, Senior Associate Athletics Director for External Operations and Strategic Communications. "This is another way for us to effectively accomplish this goal by hearing directly from coaches, staff and Red Raider legends."
 
The podcast will be available on TexasTech.com or by searching "Texas Tech Athletics Podcast" in the Apple Podcast app.
