Does anyone else think it strange that we are thinking about redistricting right now (because it is always done this way/at this time), as if the Dixie fire did not alter census numbers and people’s lives? Cromberg, after the last redistricting, is part of the district Greenville is in, and we have no idea yet what will happen in our district. Can the redistricting be postponed until we know what the numbers truly are, based on hard decisions by our community members, and reflect reality? This disaster effects all of us in major ways.
