The NWS was expecting better weather from today through the weekend as the cold front begins to move away from the island, with more sunshine is expected.
“This is typical weather for this time of the year,” said Kevin Kodama, NWS hydrologist. “We didn’t get much rain, and the weekend looks a lot better. It should be cooler north winds, and dryer,” said Kodama.
